The MasterVoices Spring Benefit on March 9th is going to be better than ever! There will be more performances, more celebrities, and way more fun and games. Prepare to be surprised!
Of course, the key elements will all be there: drinks, dinner, and merriment. But the most important thing to know is that the evening will provide crucial support for our rapidly growing programs. Clearly our mission has never been so relevant – this past year our audiences increased by 45%. In the words of our founder Robert Shaw, we are here to celebrate choral art as the highest artistic expression of American Democracy. Through the art of musical storytelling, MasterVoices brings people together from all walks of life to make something bigger and more beautiful than they could ever achieve alone.
We’ll begin with cocktails at 6 pm, followed by a 7 pm dinner with pop-up performances and entertainment throughout the evening. Celebrity guests will include Kelli O’Hara (Kiss Me Kate, The King and I), Ben Davis (Dear Evan Hansen), Isabel Leonard (Grammy-winning opera star), Santino Fontana (Tootsie, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Laura Osnes (Grease, Cinderella), Bryce Pinkham (A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, The Great Society), Jeffrey Schecter (Escape at Dannemora), Lauren Flanigan (Opera Star), Marc Shaiman (Hairspray), Lauren Worsham (A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Candide)… and more than a few more!
