Mahler’s Symphony No. 3

Presented by Carnegie Hall, MasterVoices joins the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and Maestro Zubin Mehta for a performance of  Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 3.  MasterVoices has appeared with the Orchestra at Carnegie Hall (2012 and 2015), in Israel (2008 and 2012), and at the Salzburg Festival (2012).

Mefistofele, by Arrigo Boito, based on the legend of Faust. Featuring bass-baritone Eric Owens, Arturo Chacón-Cruz, and soprano Julianna Di Giacomo, and with the combined forces of The Collegiate Chorale and Manhattan Girl’s Chorus depicting sorcerers, witches, will-o the-wisps, ancient Greek nymphs, penitents, and cherubim, this performance will provide heavenly music and devilish good fun.
