What is MasterVoices singing this season?
When the season schedule is set, it will be posted on our home page.
-
Are there membership dues?
We have eliminated the annual dues, the Singers Council felt that eliminating dues would help to make MasterVoices as inclusive as possible, removing any possible barrier to sing with the group.
We ask each member to contribute an: $80 music/licensing fee for the season. This fee will cover part of the cost of our music (licensing, printing, etc).
-
What are the current Membership/Attendance policies?
Our success as an organization is dependent upon a passionate and committed membership! Members are expected to be in attendance at all regular rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and performances. Life is unpredictable, and so there are obvious exceptions for illness, life events, and professional conflicts. You are expected to keep our chorus manager and section leaders up-to-date on your availability. Members with excessive absences may be asked to not perform in an upcoming concert. The full calendar for the season is available on our Singing Member Page.
Each year MasterVoices has a ticket minimum requirement for each concert. We encourage you to invite friends/family to attend our concerts to fulfill your ticket minimum. The goal of ticket minimum is to increase concert attendance and viability. The ticket requirement* for the season will be posted on our Singing Member Page once approved by the Singer’s Council. The minimum ticket price for each concert is $30.
*As always, anyone for whom the licensing fee and/or ticket minimum is a hardship can reach out to our chorus manager for a waiver or reduction in these obligations. We do not want these obligations to be a barrier for anyone singing with us
