You’re invited to our Fall Benefit!
* Let the trumpet call *
THE EVENING BEGINS with our one-night-only performance of STRIKE UP THE BAND at Carnegie Hall. A new adaptation of this satirical comedy, which contains the best of the 1927 and 1930 versions, makes this a historic production, and is sure to become a blueprint for future performances of the work. George and Ira Gershwin’s soaring melodies and delightful lyrics will have you swooning from the downbeat of the Overture to favorite songs including The Man I Love and I’ve Got a Crush on You!
YOU WON’T WANT THE BAND TO STOP so the evening will continue with a Benefit Reception – honoring JULIANA CHEN for her years of outstanding Board leadership – featuring tantalizing cocktails, light bites, and the chance to mingle with the stars of the performance, your friends and fellow patrons, and our visionary Artistic Director, Ted Sperling.
Attendees of the Benefit will have access to the best seats for this Gershwin gem. Gather your friends and reserve your spot today!
