Robert Reichstein
Robert P. Reichstein was raised in Chicago, Illinois. He received his B.A. at Amherst College and M.D. at The Chicago Medical School. For forty years, Robert has been in solo cardiology practice in Manhattan, and Attending in Cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Professional activities, besides patient care, have included teaching and lecture series for the Advanced Cardiac Life Support Program and Bristol-Myers Squibb (Eliquis). He spent twenty years serving as the Cardiology consultant for the Aortic Aneurysm Program at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Robert raised his family in Montclair, New Jersey, and is a proud husband, father of three sons, and grandfather of three (Monica, Molly, and Casey).
Since his early days in school, Robert has been in singing groups, large and small, amateur and (rarely) professional. He joined MasterVoices over fifteen years ago. In that time, he has become a strong advocate for its artistic vision.
Robert has no previous experience with nonprofit board service, but welcomes the opportunity now to break that mold with MasterVoices. Especially following the unique response to the Covid shutdown with the creation of Myths and Hymns, our chorus has proven its artistic genius and community relevance.
