Kenneth H. Hannan, Jr.
Kenneth Hannan, President, Colonial Navigation Company, Inc. Ken was born in Dallas, TX, as a pre-war baby, attended New Canaan High School, the Hotchkiss School, and received his B.A. from Yale College, majoring in Political Science and Economics. After a summer internship in Japan, Mr. Hannan was determined to know more about the commercial shipping business. He joined Naess Shipping Inc. In 1975 Mr. Hannan became a founder of Colonial Navigation Co., Inc., a New York City firm which he has headed ever since. As a board member of MasterVoices, he serves on the Finance Committee. He is a director and Chairman of the American Foreign Policy Council in Washington, D.C. Ken enjoys most musical genres with baroque music and opera being particular favorites. He is a member of the Yale Club, the Links Club, and the Anglers Club. He and his wife Yvonne have a daughter, a son and a grandson and reside in New York City.
