Ellen Nenner

Ellen (Ricki) Nenner received an A.B. from Mount Holyoke College, where she majored in Economics and Philosophy, and an M.A. in Urban Planning from the New School for Social Research. She attended the High School of Music and Art (now LaGuardia School of Music & Art and Performing Arts) as a music student, and studied piano and voice at the Juilliard School of Music. She enjoyed a 20-year career at McKinsey & Co, focusing on communications and strategic planning. Ricki has been pursuing a literary career for the last several years and is currently working on a memoir. She has studied at the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center and the Sarah Lawrence Writing Institute. Her work has appeared in the live literary forum “Writers Read,” the Sarah Lawrence Institute Newsletter, and the New School Foods, “The Inquisitive Eater.” She has been a member of MasterVoices’ Board of Directors since 2005 and serves on the Governance Committee.
